A small area hidden from view by surrounding trees, Kaeda Takaoka translates directly to 'High Maple Hill'. The trees that grow here are all Japanese maple, a rare sight within the boundaries of the forest. Rising out of the fog ridden forest of browns and greens, with fanning ruby hued branches, this hidden treasure waits. At the right time of day the sun illuminates the bountiful gathering with a beautiful light from the many crimson and purple tinted leaves; the moon turns this area a bloody red.
