Basics
[/blockquote][/blockquote]Name: Hans
Gender: Male
Breed: Akita
Age: 3 years
Pack: Loner
Appearance: All four paws are white, with the front paws being white up to just above on the left and below on the right of the bends of his legs. The main color of his body is a creamy tan, with the white showing up on his chest, throat, belly, and the curl of his tail. His muzzle looks like someone pushed him face first into a bat of tar, while the same thing looks like it happened to the very tips of his ears. There is a ring of black right around his eyes, which are a very deep shade of brown to begin with.
As a pup, he had a bit of a rolly polly affect, though it has worn off in the years of living with only his sibling as company, and running the countryside. He was the typical fat, firstborn who demanded all that was his and even that that wasn't his, but as the years have taught him, he must fight for what is his, thus he has grow tough and strong. Over the years, he lost the rolly polly puppy fat and grew into a fine, young, strong Akita.

[/blockquote][/blockquote]Personality: Born the oldest, Hans took to the role of leader from everything dealing with who ate first to leading the next game of chase. He is as all pups are, curious about EVERYTHING! It doesn't matter if your wolf or dog, cat, horse, or plant, he is going to sniff you and depending on if he likes you or hates you, he'll hike his leg and send a stream of urine in your general direction if he likes you. Luckily, he has grown out of this behavior. A bit on the chatty side, he doesn't really know when to shut up, but at least he knows if an adult is talking to another adult, not to interrupt.
History: Left to fend for himself and his brother, Kai, Hans was forced to grow up rather quickly, thus taking on the responsibility to taking care of his sibling. His mother died shortly after giving birth to the two pups, leaving his father to raise them. That lasted for less than 2 months, when Hans' sire was killed by a wolf who had thought the two pups would have made a good meal. Luckily, during the fight, Hans' sire had killed the wolf also; but was unable to survive the wounds dealt to him.
Without a backwards glance, Hans moved on, driving his semi-reluctant brother away from their father's dead body. For several days, he and Kai walked, until they came upon the descendants of the legendary Kai Ken brothers, where they were taken in by one of the females that had just lost her pups. It was here that the two brothers met Slit, a black and white Akita, of the same age, that spoke very little of her past but had been taken in by the Kai Ken descendants as they had been.
By the time Hans turned three, he and Kai were finally ready to leave the land and travel on their own. When they tried to leave, Slit joined them, also wanting to see the world, yet Hans didn't miss the glint in the female Akita's eyes as she gazed at Kai. From that day on, the three traveled far and wide, looking for a place where they could settle and protect, calling it their home.
Other: Hans is a three year old Akita with no mate . . . Yet there is a high chance he will never take one.
Rp Example: It had been just over two years since Hans and Kai had stumbled upon the Kai Ken clan, one that had turned out for the best for both of them as pups. Now, stepping into the light, a much older, and much stronger, Hans looked down upon the moving figures of the Kai Ken clan, watching from his vantage point, as his given role of 'guard.'
From his watching post, Hans could make out the figure of his brother, Kai, a dog that spoke less than himself and the slim figure of the lone female that had basically become their sister since they had walked among the Kai Ken, Slit. She was a pretty female, not nearly as big as both Hans and Kai, but able to hold her own in practice fights. He could see Kai curled up, trying to sleep, but even from so high above, he could see that his brother was uncomfortable. Slit was talking to him it seemed, which was the cause of the dog's uncomfortable state of being. The scene caused Has to chuckle, as he watched Kai suddenly get up and stalk off. Those two . . . they were the same age, but might as well be at opposite ends of the age scale.
Sighing, Hans pulled his attention from his brother and adopted-sister and gazed out over the Kai Ken territory. It had been his home for so long, the land having almost taken over the distant memory of his birthplace. The same thing was happening with the female that had taken him and Kai in, her face being the one he remembered more than his own mother. These thoughts had been plauging him, and Kai, for sometime, which could mean only one thing. It was time to go.
Sighing once more, Hans turned from the ledge. He had spoken with the leader of the Kai Ken clan and confirmed that he and Kai would be leaving. Of course, the question of whether or not Slit would go with them had come up, but Hans had left that bit of information out when talking to his brother. The female would follow, no matter how much Kai pushed her away.
As he scanned the land behind him, Hans noticed a low moving figure racing across the land. He prepared himself when he noticed that the figure was heading right for him. It seemed only fitting, his last night on guard duty, something would happen. Yet, as the figure got closer he found himself downwind and the figure's scent drifting toward him. Slowly he raised himself to his fully height, as the figure got into his line of sight. It was the leader of the Kai Ken clan. "Hans," the leader called, slowing to a trot as he approached the Akita.
"I have spoken with Slit and she wishes to travel with you and your brother . . . even if it means following at a distance," the leaders stated, rust red and black stripped fur helping him seem to disappear in some spots and reappear in others. "You will allow it, won't you?" the Kai-dog asked, though it seemed there was no point in Hans agreeing, not with what he already knew. When Hans nodded, the Kai-dog's nub of a tail started to wag, which caused Hans' curled plume to wag. "Good . . . I will finish your watch . . . Go, rest for your travels in the morning," he ordered, not even allowing Hans a second before he snapped at his paws, sending the young dog from his post.
